Pian Cai (Indirect Wealth)

bazi · term · BaZi · Ten Gods · Pian Cai

Definition

Indirect Wealth is what the Day Master controls with the same yin/yang. Examples: Jia day seeing Wu; Yi day seeing Ji. Versus Direct Wealth, imagery leans more toward “non-fixed, outward, opportunity-type” resources.

How to identify

I-control + same polarity. When Indirect Wealth reveals, roots, and is generated, business and expansion themes often strengthen; also watch whether Peers divide and seize it.

Lookup table: Ten Gods Matrix. Overview: Ten Gods.

Common imagery

  • Flowing resources such as investment, trade, and cross-domain income (symbolic layer—not financial advice).
  • In some schools, father-star imagery relates to Indirect Wealth—use cautiously, not dogmatically.
  • Flexible timing and opportunity sense; when excessive, speculative drive may rise.
  • With Officer/Killings: Wealth nourishing Killings/Officer affects career and responsibility structure.

Boundaries of use

Indirect Wealth ≠ “sudden windfall riches.” When the body is weak and Wealth is strong, discuss burden first, harvest second.

Stem palace (year/month/day/hour), rooting depth, and overlays with Decade Luck and annual pillars all change weight. Never decide from the Ten Gods name alone.
