Definition

Direct Resource generates the Day Master with opposite yin/yang. Examples: Jia day seeing Gui; Yi day seeing Ren. It often symbolizes reliable learning, elder support, and named credentials or documents.

How to identify

Generates-me + opposite polarity. Resource close to the Day Master, Officer–Resource mutual generation, and Killings–Resource mutual generation are common discussion structures; much Resource can also dull Eating/Hurting.

Common imagery

Study, certificates, and a sense of “having reasoned ground to stand on.”
Protection, benefactors, mother-star imagery in tradition (use carefully).
Stability, inward focus, valuing recognition; when excessive, action may lag.

Boundaries of use

Heavy Resource with a strong body may prefer Eating/Hurting to express talent. Direct Resource does not automatically mean “high academic degrees.”

Stem palace (year/month/day/hour), rooting depth, and overlays with Decade Luck and annual pillars all change weight. Never decide from the Ten Gods name alone.
