Pattern and response to success or failure
What is the pattern answering?
In the context of the monthly orders, the pattern is used to organize the cooperative relationship between the daily stems, the monthly orders and Four Pillars, rather than assigning a permanent grade to the whole person. The name of the grid, whether the grid is valid, what combinations there are in the grid, and how to get luck are four different issues. A certain stem can prompt the direction of analysis, but it cannot replace the monthly order and overall conditions.
General learning sequence
- Fixed Day Master, Yue Ling and Zang Qian, not selecting case names based on character experience first.
- Check which factors are revealed in the monthly order, whether there are any convergences and other factors that need to be processed according to the text.
- Explain which grid is used as the main line of discussion; separate conditions for Jianlu, Moon Tribulation, Miscellaneous Qi and other situations are listed.
- Write down the collaborators: financial, official, seal, food, etc. who supports the main line and who constitutes interference.
- If discussing success or failure, and rescue responses, point out the conditions one by one, not just give the last label.

Case 1: Analysis tree of Jia day and You month
You Zangxin, for A, is 正官, which can be discussed from the perspective of official status. If you also see the Gui seal, you can list the chain of "Xin generates Gui" and "Gui generates Jia"; if you also see the "Ji wealth", you can list "Ji generates Xin"; if you see Ding, then "Ding Ke" and "Xin" form another relationship. This is the relationship tree, which has not yet replaced the root energy, position and other Earthly Branches.
Only xin does not mean success; the appearance of wealth seals at the same time does not necessarily mean independent bonus points, because ji also restrains gui. It should be clear how each word is configured and which condition is quoted. It should not end with the words "Financial Officer Yinquan".
Case 2: Why take the 食神 format if you can’t meet C?
A, day, and C are 食神, which is a fixed classification. Bingtou is in the year but the month order is unitary, which is different from the situation where 食神 is used as the main line of the month order. Only by reading the monthly order first and then explaining C's involvement can we avoid confusing "what Ten Gods (Shishen) is in the market" with "how to organize the pattern."
Success or failure, rescue and fortune-telling
Success or failure represents the cooperation conditions under the selected traditional framework, and rescue should represent the path to deal with interference. Xiangshen is often used to discuss the factors that supplement the main line. They cannot be translated to mean that the career will be successful, the disaster will be resolved, or that a noble person will definitely appear in reality. The "affectionate" and "powerful" in pattern theory also need to be reduced to specific configurations rather than character evaluations.
Terminology traps when reading original texts
The same "Yongshen" may have different meanings in the original text and comments; "high and low pattern" has a traditional value order and should not be directly turned into a score of the user's personality or life value. When texts conflict with each other, different opinions should be preserved and all chapters should not be unified by a modern slogan.
